The Problem:

In 2023, MLS Global partnered with a 257-bed hospital in Maryland. This hospital laboratory was suffering from a high reliance on travel staff and had few to no applicants applying. The current laboratory staff were burnt out and management was under constant pressure to keep the lab running while also trying to fill roles. 

The Solution:

MLS Global worked with the hospital to develop a 6-year retention plan for these international recruits and within 6 months the first of five staff arrived.

In 2023, MLS Global partnered with a 327-bed hospital in Maryland that was suffering from severe short staffing in their laboratory. Due to this hospitals location that was over an hour from a major city it was extremely difficult to find new applicants. The laboratory had a high reliance on travel staff with little to no applicants. 

The Solution:

MLS Global was able to help them put into place a 6 year retention program and helped them bring in 5 medical laboratory scientist, all of whom arrived with 6 months.
